The Community Cavalcade is a key part of Liberation Day.
The military vehicles and classic cars depart from Pembroke car park at 2pm to head into St Peter Port. All military vehicles, motorbikes, classic and old cars are welcome to take part.
A new addition for this year is a Pedestrian Cavalcade which will leave from Salerie Corner also at 2pm. All members of the community are invited to join. We’re asking you to get your Hangar Ball outfits down from the loft, find your children’s evacuee costumes or dress in red, white and blue and come and join the Community Cavalcade.
At the end, the military vehicles and classic cars will park on the Albany to form a static display. Have your photos taken with the vehicles and take the opportunity to speak to the drivers and passengers.
