Liberation Day will have a full programme of entertainment from 10.30am through to 11pm.
Albert Pier will host the Home Front Marquee with live music from midday. Be entertained by 40s music throughout the day before the bands take over in the evening. The majority of the food stalls and a bar will be located on the Albert Pier along with Crown and Anchor and tables and chairs for you to sit and watch the celebrations.
Crown Pier will be turned into a family zone with bouncy castles, a climbing wall and children’s activities.
The Albany will be home to the NAAFI tent with refreshments served throughout the day and plenty of seating. You can also enjoy a mixture of music and readings. The dance zone will also be located on the Albany with performances from some of Guernsey’s dance and acrobatic troupes.
Castle Emplacement will be filled with local stallholders, family activities and music to entertain you as you make your way up to Castle Cornet, where there will be free entry all day and more live music.
There will be something for all ages to enjoy, there is no doubt about that!
