Thank you to Rosemary Farish for sending in this lovely photo of her parents Joyce Torode and Ivan Snow.
Her mother Joyce stayed in Guernsey during the occupation and ran dance classes at the age of 21. To do this, Joyce had to ask permission of the German commandant - quite a scary prospect!
She later married Ivan who was a driver with the Liberation force.
