The cavalcade is at the heart of the community celebrations and has been a key part of Liberation Day for many years. With the traditional route from the Vaugrat campsite into St Peter Port, the 80th anniversary cavalcade will be joined by floats, community groups, bikes, pedestrians and music as it arrives along the St Peter Port seafront and will see thousands of people of all ages line the route.

Applications to enter a float, decorated bicycle or wheelchair or to join as a pedestrian are welcomed from across the community. Everyone is welcome to get involved!

The cavalcade will start with the military vehicles at the Vaugrat campsite and will be joined by the vintage cars and tractors at Pembroke and the floats, bikes and pedestrians at Salerie Corner.  The Cavalcade will progress along the St Peter Port seafront and end with a a static display from 4pm.

Please read the entry information document above for all the details regarding entering the Cavalcade, float dimensions, details of available grants etc. You will also find the entry form and a grant claim form above.
