Residents, businesses, retailers, hospitality and schools are invited to ‘Decorate to Liberate’ for the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day.
The Committee for Education, Sport and Culture is encouraging the whole island to get involved in this year’s celebrations. The annual initiative started in 2020 when the 75th anniversary commemorations and celebrations had to be cancelled due to Covid.
Islanders can dress up their homes, storefronts, vehicles and community spaces with any form of decoration in the lead up to Friday 9 May.
You can download your own bunting templates below.
Use the official Decorate to Liberate digital icons below and share your decorations with pride!
Be sure to use #DecorateToLiberate on social media so we can see the island get ready for the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day.
