The Committee for Education, Sport & Culture has announced two new events to be held in Town on Liberation Day this year, in response to community feedback.

We're looking for dedicated individuals to support their parish on Liberation Day. 

Guernsey residents are invited to share their views in our Liberation Day survey to inform preparations for 2023 and future years. We'd like to hear from everyone to help ensure that future events appeal to the whole community. Thank you!

Thanks to the Drone Ranger who was out and about on Liberation Day to capture the islandwide cavalcade that snaked its way around the island. Thanks to everyone who greeted, waved and cheered at the 100+ vehicles that joined in.

Thanks to the Guernsey Press who featured a double page spread today, Saturday 7th May, showcasing the Liberation Day 2022 programme of events as well as those Parish events taking place across the island.

Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex will be arriving in Guernsey on the afternoon of Liberation Day this year, as part of their visit to the Bailiwick for the 77th anniversary of Liberation and to mark Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
