Transport & Accessibility

Full details of transport options and accessibility for the week of Liberation Day can be found below.

Transport

St Peter Port will host a full schedule of events on Liberation Day which requires a considerable amount of infrastructure to be built. Some roads and parking areas will be impacted throughout the week to accommodate this and a variety of road closures and parking suspensions will be in place.

Please note the Military Vehicle leg of the Cavalcade will be travelling from the Vaugrat Campsite from 14.00 and the Floats from Longue Hougue at 13.30. The Cavalcade will work on a rolling closure and we would strongly advise people to avoid driving the route of this during these times as you may be subject to delays and/or diversions.
