Islanders are invited to attend this year's Liberation Day service in the Town Church, the final one to be led by the Very Reverend Tim Barker before his retirement.

Over 100 military vehicles, vintage cars and motorbikes will form this year’s Liberation Day Cavalcade. 

Following the success of Liberation Day 2025, celebrating the 80th anniversary, planning is now underway for Liberation Day 2026.

Guernsey is participating alongside hundreds of buildings across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands by lighting up in red, white and blue to commemorate Victory in Europe, or VE Day, and the end of World War II.
